Channel Five's project "Trace" (“Sled”) has been declared as the best series of the outgoing year according to the residents of Russia. The Analytical Center of VCIOM, in partnership with the "People's Brand" award, has summarized the results of a study that determined the main cinematic preferences of viewers. This is the best confirmation that, for many years running, the detective series about the work of the Federal Expert Service continues to set the standard in the genre.
"Trace" is a series about the work of experts who prove that even the most cautious and cunning criminals leave traces, and professionals will inevitably find them. The FES laboratory brings together the best specialists in all areas of forensics. They examine various pieces of evidence, generate leads, and expose villains. "Trace" holds the absolute record for the number of episodes aired among Russian series. To date, 3,500 episodes have been filmed.
The creators of the project do not reveal the secret of its unprecedented longevity. They say that an important part of the "Trace" philosophy is the balance between time-tested formulas and bold experiments, both in storylines and visual style.

"We are constantly in search of ideas and new faces. We strive to have many young people working on the project — it energizes it. Currently, we are working a lot with graphics and action, trying to diversify the visual range. We continue the good tradition of putting great care into the teasers. But the main secret of our detective is the cast. This includes both esteemed artists who have been filming since the very first episodes and new participants — interesting, charismatic, unique, and organic. And, of course, the indispensable star and driving force of the project—the magnificent Olga Igorevna Koposova as Galina Rogozina!"
Victory in a public vote is not just a line in a rating. It is the logical result of many years of meticulous work by an entire team that managed to create a unique project which, on one hand, has become familiar and dear to viewers, and on the other, constantly surprises.

The broadcast of the series "Trace" secures Channel Five first place in the daytime and evening slots from 13:30 to 22:20, Monday through Friday, among the female audience aged "25-59" with an 8.5% share (1). During weekday primetime from 17:30 to 22:20, the detective series tops the rankings simultaneously in two key demographics: "Women 25-59" and "Women 35-45", with average shares of 9.0% (2) and 8.0% (3), respectively.
