National Media Group and CTC Media announce the start of application filing for the third creativity competition Pitch Lab that will be held in the online format. The project's primary objective is to provide young talents with an opportunity to implement their ideas on the Holding Company’s platforms.
The competition is intended not only for experienced authors, but first of all for debutants without filmographies. At the same time, participants' works need not be in formats of NMG and CTC Media's TV channels. Pitch Lab is aimed at collecting new, original ideas that have never been implemented on the screen.
Applications will be filed from May 18 to June 14. The project participants will be able to show themselves in the following categories: Fiction Series, Feature Length Film, Animation, Show. The best works will be selected in three stages — first, the editorial group will make a long list of participants, then the expert board will specify a short list of finalists, and then the judges will select winners. The finalists' applications will be pitched in the videoconference format on July 29. The best works will be implemented on NMG's TV channels, as well as on the Holding Company’s digital platforms.
Pitch Lab will be held for the third time. The overall number of applications received at previous pitchings was more than 4,000, and the competition was participated by aspiring and professional script writers from more than 25 countries — Russia, CIS countries, UK, Gernamy, Israel, Cyprus, USA, as well as China, UAE, Poland, France, Switzerland, Hungary, and Cambodia.
