The television assets of the National Media Group (NMG) were recognized as the best in several categories at the Golden Ray National Awards for satellite, cable, and internet television.
The 24/7 television channel Izvestia was victorious once again in the Information and Journalism category. The TLC channel, distributed in the Russian market by Media Alliance, was recognized as the Best TV Channel for Women. Viasat Explore, which is part of Viasat’s channel portfolio, was recognized as the Best TV Channel for Men.
Golden Ray is an annual national award for TV channels in the Russian language, broadcast by satellite, cable, and internet operators in Russia and abroad. The jury’s main criteria for choosing the winners are the channel’s broadcasting area, audience size, originality of ideas, and production quality, as well as the variety of content.
