On International Children’s Day on June 1, National Media Group (NMG) will support the national Talking Objects campaign, organized by the SOS Children’s Villages charity as part of the fight against domestic violence toward children.
As a rule, children hide incidences of physical or emotional abuse, as it often occurs at home, without any witnesses. Nevertheless, those behind the Talking Objects campaign have found some witnesses: the items that surround children in their homes. The organization has put together a series of social videos where various household items tell real stories about child abuse. The stories are voiced by Russian celebrities such as Konstantin Khabensky, Elizaveta Boyarskaya, Tutta Larsen, Nonna Grishaeva, Alexander Nezlobin, and others.
The videos will be aired on six national NMG channels: from June 1 on CTC, CTC Love, CHE!, Domashniy and REN TV, and from June 2 on 5TV. They will also be available on a dedicated project page, where viewers can additionally read expert comments on each story and study educational materials from the parenting organization’s psychologists.
