Lala Akhmedova will be responsible for developing and promoting the service, increasing the subscriber base, and monetization.
Lala Akhmedova has 25 years’ experience in strategic marketing, branding, digital marketing, and product design. Ms. Akhmedova has worked in major global communication groups, including WPP (UK) and McCann-Erickson International, and has cooperated with Samsung Corporation. She has headed up the Marketing Communications Department of CTC Media since 2016. Lala Akhmedova was recognized as one of the top five marketing directors in the Media Business category of the annual Kommersant and AMR TOP-1000 ranking of Russian managers in 2017, 2018, 2019, and 2020.
As CEO of more.tv, Lala Akhmedova will report to Vyacheslav Murugov, Deputy CEO of National Media Group for Entertainment Broadcasting.
Denis Gorshkov, the outgoing CEO of more.tv, has decided to leave the company to focus on his own projects. Denis played an important role in establishing the media technology company M3 in 2018, in launching the more.tv online service in 2019, and in launching some outstanding projects in the more originals portfolio, including Chicks, Psycho, and Troubled Teenagers, which brought in record-breaking audience figures.
