National Media Group informs about the completion of the acquisition of shares in the amount of 100% share capital of RastrKom-2002 LLC, which owns 25% shares in OJC Channel One Russia.

National Media Group was founded in February 2008 combining media assets of the Bank of Russia, A.A. Mordashov, OJSC Surgutneftegas and insurance group Sogaz.

Today National Media Group is one of the largest private media holdings in Russia combining the assets of key segment in the Russian media market. The Group includes: Channel One Russia, REN TV, Petersburg Channel Five, and newspaper Izvestiya.
