The “Fisher” series, produced by the streaming platform Wink (part of the Wink Originals lineup) and distributed in Russia and internationally by Art Pictures Distribution, won the Best TV Show award at the international Onirica Film Festival. The award ceremony took place at the Garibaldi cinema in the Italian city of Carrara.
Previously, the series was presented at international film markets in Berlin, Cannes, and Hong Kong, where it attracted significant professional attention. Interest in “Fisher” remains strong today, with the project drawing attention in India and Latin America.
Anna Vedrova, Senior Manager for International Distribution at Art Pictures Distribution:
“We are delighted to represent Russian projects on the international market. For us, “Fisher” is a detective series with a distinctive style, a strong plot, and great potential. This isn’t the first time the series has participated in international film festivals — this year’s screening at the Onirica Film Festival was truly special, marking its 10th anniversary.”
“Fisher” has already received several international awards. It won at the San Lorenzo Film Festival in Italy (in the Best Web Series category) and at the Annual Hollywood Series in the USA (in the Best Thriller Series category).
The premiere of “Fisher” took place in February 2023. Leading roles in the thriller series for Wink were played by Ivan Yankovsky, Alexandra Bortich, and Alexander Yatsenko. In May 2025, the second season, “Fisher: Eclipse”, was released. Viewer interest in this popular franchise sequel proved extremely high, reaching nearly 61.6 million views (as of October 2025).
After the second season concluded, the Wink streaming platform announced it would begin production on two new chapters of the popular project. These will be produced with support from NMG Studio, with Fyodor Bondarchuk and Dmitry Tabarchuk serving as general producers. Sergey Taramaev and Lyubov Lvova (directors of the first season of “Fisher”) will act as showrunners and directors for one part of the series. Olga Frenkel (“Cool Katya”, “Insomnia”, “Completely Crazy”) will serve as director for the other. The new series will join the Wink Originals lineup, which includes "The Boy's Word: Blood on the Asphalt", “Lilies. Such a Tender Love”, “Combination”, “Moscow Doesn’t Believe in Tears. It’s Just Beginning”, and others.
